There will also be an option to download “TesseracT 4x12”. This IR maybe needed for the Mesa IIC & VH4 preset if you find the IR is missing when downloading the preset.

TesseracT - War Of Being

All tones used from these presets

“Proxy” Intro Lead Tone (Using the “Sirens” preset which uses the Altered State capture).

  • Rhythm tone/capture used for Altered State & Polaris

  • Rhythm tone/capture used for War Of Being.

  • Rhythm tone using Mesa II C & VH4.

  • Rhythm tone used for “Portals” and “Hollow”.

  • Crunch support tone used for quad tracking with another pickup for reinforcement.

  • Altered State “light” lead tone. For example the tone used in the “Proxy” intro.

  • Milton Cleans. YES THE MILTON CLEANS. I captured one of my POD XT presets which has been used on all of our albums for “that” Tesseract clean sound. One preset for bridge pickup and one for neck.

  • Bass capture of the distortion used in Polaris.

  • Bass capture of the tone used in Sonder.

  • Bass capture of the tone used in War Of Being.

Preset Name Explanation

  • Rhythm WoB 1
    Tone used for War Of Being & also my current live tone.

  • Rhythm WoB 2
    Variation on the capture of the same tone & different post EQ.

  • IIC + VH4
    Blend of Mesa IIC & VH4 blocks. Has a nice open cab sound!

  • Hollow
    Tone capture from Hollow & Portals.

  • Chug Alt State
    Altered State & Polaris Rhythm tone.

  • Crunch Support
    Quad tracking tone, Useful when another pickup is used to add reinforcement.

  • Milton Bridge
    That Milton Cleans tone. For the bridge pickup.

  • Milton Neck
    That Milton Cleans tone. For the neck pickup (try picking over the neck pickup or over the end of the fretboard for a more glassy/smooth tone.

  • Milton Bright
    A different capture which is slightly brighter. Different reverb/delay setup.

  • Sirens
    Light lead tone used throughout War Of Being.

  • Proxy Lead
    Light lead tone used throughout Altered State & Polaris.

  • Bass Hellborg
    Bass tone for Polaris & Sonder. Scene A is clean. Scene B is distorted.

  • Bass WoB
    Bass tone for War of Being. Scene A is clean. Scene B is distorted.

Delivery

Due to the nature of how sharing Quad Cortex presets works, I have to send them manually. Please ensure you fill in your Cortex username correctly when purchasing. Please add “AcleKahney” within your Cortex app and please allow up to 48 hours for delivery. Can I also ask that you do not make these presets available publicly. So much time has gone into creating these! Thanks!

It’s worth noting that I have my input impedance set to 10M and my pickup height is quite high (as close to the string as possible). This will strongly effect the tone! If you find the tone a little choked, then you can try boosting the output gain on the Pre-EQ (first EQ block) to drive the amp block a little more.
