These presets have been designed to be used within a DAW such as Cubase or Reaper. The reason? Pre & post EQ. The pre-EQ being detrimental to the tightness of the tone which OD pedals tend to do a messy job of. Using pre EQ helps remove the sag and looseness before going into the amp.

Templates using stock Cubase/Reaper plugins are included however for best results I advise using the Fab Filter versions which I created the tones with. The tones are close to “mix ready”. I' have also included the standalone presets for Fortin Nameless, Gojira and Nolly.

Notes…

The rhythm tones are setup in a A & B fashion. A being the main tone. B being the support tone. A uses a custom IR, B uses in built IR and is meant to be added in at a lower volume to help cut through the mix with some added mids.
The presets are best used with high output pickups and a heavy hitting rhythm hand. Also ensure the height of your pickup is fairly high. You will need to tweak the gate and neural gate to taste.
The Cubase & Reaper templates include extra FX for the clean tone. If you own Valhalla Shimmer and/or Waves H Delay, then unmute the FX channels for extra lushness!
The templates include all Fortin, Gojira, Nolly presets in one file. If you don’t own one of them you may get an error which you can just ignore. Simply do a “Save As” to stop it from happening when you load in future.
Cubase template built with version 12 but should be backward and upward compatible with other versions.
The bass preset is very dependant on the source sound of the bass itself. If your bass guitar sounds like shit, this preset won’t help! The first insert of compression has a 10dB boost…this may need tweaking depending on your pickup output ensuring there is only 3 to 6dB of compression.
